Abstract photography can be defined by the following characteristics:Stairs

  • Does not represent the subject in a literal way.
  • Communicates primarily through lighting ,form, color, and curves rather than image detail.
  • Many are close-ups or Macro-photos of larger subjects.

Synonyms – Deep, unreal, complex, intellectual, weird

 

 

Aperture – A space through which light passes in a photographic instrument, including the variable opening by which light enters a camera.

The aperture priority setting on a camera may appear similar to the photo on the right.

Aperture can also be easily changed when a camera is set on manual mode.

Synonyms – f/stop, pretty backgrounds

 

 

 

 

Long exposure photography – Involves using a long duration shutter speed to capture an image.Calm river

Synonyms – really long photo, #bepatient
